The ORI STX Strut is a Top Choice among many Off Road Enthusiasts with an emphasis on it's amazing performance and unparalleled Stability in the Off Road Rock Crawling and Ultra 4 Racing Categories.  The Integral Reservoir Strut allows adjustable compression and rebound with improved cooling for high speed applications.  While these features are typically not needed for Rock Crawling alone, they become very important for high speed racing.  The Integral Reservoir is combined into the strut body as a single item (always check for proper mounting clearance before ordering)

Integral Reservoir (Fixed Body)

Integral reservoirs enhance the performance features of your STX Strut:

• When integral reservoirs are combined with an STX Strut, they provide a total of 4-, or 5-stage modular compression damping.
• 24-position external compression damping adjustment
• More oil capacity for longer stroke compression damping
• Integral reservoir can be rotated to any position 360° around the strut body and locked into place for ease of installation.
• Deep-fin design allows these reservoirs to double as external oil coolers for extreme desert heat and high-speed driving conditions.
• Integral design requires no external hoses and is best suited in applications that have the proper room to accommodate a larger Strut Body.

In most applications : 

• No Limit Straps or Bump Stops are Required
• No Changing Springs or making Internal Valving Adjustments
• Typically Lighter and can fit 2" Longer ORI Struts Compared to Coilovers

STX struts feature unique dual nitrogen charged chambers for unmatched stability in off-road suspension and are fully tunable to obtain any level of stability, ride height, and spring rate desired simply by adjusting nitrogen pressure in the upper / lower chamber.  

Built into the compression damping is a 1 inch hydraulic bump stop, high flow oil return passageways, and a velocity sensitive compression valve that helps prevent bottoming out on hard hits to make for a 3 stage compression damping stroke.

With a compact 3.2" body, 2" piston, and a 1.75" diameter piston shaft, the struts are compact enough to fit under most builds, and strong enough to hold up in harshest conditions. They come in a variety of standard lengths (8"- 20"), and can be custom ordered up to 30" travel length. 

In many situations you will be able to save weight and gain 2" of Travel when switching from popular Coilover Shocks to ORI Struts, due to it's compact design.  Refer to the ORI Sizing Chart to match up Compressed / Extended lengths against your coilovers to verify.
